Megan Foley

Hello Cougars!

My name is Megan Foley, and I’m proud to be the School Counselor at Orting Elementary School. I’m entering my 5th year here at OES, and I’m excited to continue building strong, supportive relationships with our students, families, and community. My goal is to help create a school environment where every child feels seen, heard, and valued.

As the school counselor, I support students in the areas of social-emotional learning, academic success, and career awareness. I provide classroom lessons, small group counseling, and short-term, goal-focused individual counseling to help students build the skills they need to thrive. When additional support is needed, I also help connect families with local mental health agencies and community resources.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts from Central Washington University and my Master of Education in School Counseling from the University of Puget Sound. When I’m not at OES, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing board games, and getting outdoors with my two dogs.
