Strategic Plan
The District's strategic plan is a pathway to successfully fulfill our promise to connect with, inspire and empower our students. We built this strategic plan to provide system coherence and focus our work on five critical student learning outcomes. This plan lays out our vision, strategies and measures by which we will attain these goals.

We are excited to continue our Peer Model Preschool program this upcoming school year. Research supports the concept of having children with identified disabilities participate in learning opportunities with their non-disabled peers. The Tuition-Based, Peer Model Preschool Program is part of our growing Orting School District Early Childhood Education (ECE) program.

We are excited to announce that we have upgraded to the new Skyward Qmlativ platform! Orting School District has been using Skyward, an information management system, to manage student information, finance, and human resources. With Skyward's platform upgrade, we have successfully transitioned from our previous Skyward system to the new system, Skyward Qmlativ.

As we continue planning for the future of elementary transportation services, we want to share information about attendance boundaries and an upcoming transition that will impact some families beginning in the 2026–27 school year.
